The default view of the decision list is "My Decisions." This displays any pending (incomplete) decisions assigned to you.
As such, if you are a new user or you have completed all your assigned decisions, this list may be empty.
The decision list has several columns that provide information without requiring you to open the decision itself. This helps you prioritise work by allowing you to see the initial decision and what data is available or outstanding.
Since
The Since column displays how long ago the application was submitted. The decision list auto-sorts to show the most recent applications at the top.
The time since the application can be shown in seconds, minutes, hours, days, or months.
You can also filter the Since column to display applications submitted within a specific time period:
Hover over the column header to reveal the three vertical dots.
Click the dots to open the menu and select Filter.
In the filter menu, you’ll see an Operator set to From by default. Enter a date here to display all applications submitted since and including that date.
To filter for applications up until a specific date, change the Operator to To and enter the desired date.
For example, to see all applications received before Christmas Day 2024, change the Operator to To and enter 24/12/2024.
To filter the list to only show applications from a specific date, you’ll need to apply both a From and a To filter for that date:
Complete the From filter with your desired date (e.g., 24/12/2024).
Click + Add Filter at the bottom left of the menu.
For this new filter option, change the Operator to To and enter the same date (24/12/2024).
This will restrict the list to applications received on that specific day.
Applicant
The "Applicant" column shows the name of the applicant.
Initial
Shows the initial decision: Accept, Refer, Decline, or Pending.
Amount
The "Amount" column shows the amount the application is for.
ID Check Results
If an ID check has been carried out, the result will be displayed in this column:
🟢 Green circle with a white tick – The applicant passed the ID check.
🔴 Red circle with a white X – The applicant failed the ID check.
🟠 Amber circle with a white exclamation mark – The applicant received a Refer result on the ID check.
In addition to these three outcome symbols, two additional icons indicate warnings or errors:
⚠ Amber warning triangle – No match was found for the applicant at the Credit Bureau.
⚠ Grey warning icon – An error occurred at the Bureau or with the ID check.
If an ID check has not been performed, this column will be empty, with no result, warning, or error indicators.
Requesting ID documents
When you request ID documents via the ID tab of the decision, the request is logged in the Decisions table. In the ID column, an icon will appear to indicate that ID documents have been requested:
This allows you to see at a glance what information is still outstanding and why the decision cannot yet be finalised.
Status Updates
🪪 ID Documents Requested – Indicates that ID documents have been requested from the applicant.
🪪 Solid Blue – The applicant has uploaded their ID documents, and they are ready for review.
Note: If the documents provided are insufficient to verify the applicant’s identity or the quality is too low, you can request additional documentation as needed.
Credit
The Credit column indicates whether a credit check has been performed and displays the result.
Credit Check Results
If a credit check has been carried out, the result will be displayed in this column:
🟢 Green circle with a white tick – No credit rules were triggered.
🔴 Red circle with a white X – DECLINE credit rules were triggered.
🟠 Amber circle with a white exclamation mark – REFER credit rules were triggered.
In addition to these three outcome symbols, two additional icons indicate warnings or errors:
⚠ Amber warning triangle – No match was found for the applicant at the Credit Bureau.
⚠ Grey warning icon – An error occurred at the Bureau or with the credit check.
If a credit check has not been performed, this column will be empty, with no result, warning, or error indicators.
Affordability
The Affordability column indicates whether checks have been performed against affordability rules and, if so, what the result was.
Affordability rules can only be checked once an Open Banking connection is fully completed. If a connection hasn’t been made or data is still loading, checks will not yet run.
Once checks have been performed, the results are displayed:
🟢 Green circle with a white tick – No affordability rules triggered.
🔴 Red circle with a white X – A DECLINE affordability rule was triggered.
🟠 Amber circle with a white exclamation mark – A REFER affordability rule was triggered.
Requesting an Open Banking Connection, Bank Statements, or Payslips/Proof of Income
When you request Open Banking data or payslips via the Affordability → Upload tab, the request is logged in the Decisions table. In the Affordability column, an icon will indicate what has been requested:
🏦 When Open Banking / Bank statements have been requested
📄 When Payslips / Proof of income have been requested
🏦📄 When Both Open Banking / Bank statements and Payslips / Proof of income have been requested
This icon allows you to see at a glance what information is outstanding, and therefore why the decision cannot yet be finalised.
Status Updates
Once the applicant provides the required information, the icons update:
🏦 Solid Blue – Bank statements uploaded.
🟢🏦 Solid Blue – Open Banking connected, and affordability rules checked.
📄 Solid Blue – Payslips uploaded.
🏦📄 Both Icons Solid Blue – Bank statements and payslips uploaded.
Open Banking Request Status Icons
In addition to showing what has been requested, the Affordability column also displays icons that indicate the status of an Open Banking request. These allow you to quickly see whether further action is needed before finalising a decision.
⏳ Request Pending – The applicant has not yet started the Open Banking process.
✅ Connected – The applicant has successfully connected their Open Banking, and data is being loaded into the Affordability tab.
🚫 Cancelled – The applicant started the process but cancelled it at some point, either by closing the webpage, exiting their banking app, or another method. This may happen if their bank does not support Open Banking, so it’s worth checking who they bank with.
⚠ Error – An issue occurred, usually at the applicant’s bank. These are often resolved within a few hours. If not, try sending a new request.
⏳ Timed Out – The applicant began the Open Banking process, but the session timed out. They will need to restart the process.
These icons help you quickly identify any issues and take appropriate action as needed.
Product
The Product column shows the Loan Product the applicant has applied for, if defined. This allows you to quickly see which product each application relates to, helping you prioritise work or follow specific workflows.
Some applications may not have a product defined. In these cases, the column will display None. This is standard for ID Only checks but may also happen if:
No loan products have been defined in your Organisation Settings, or
A Product Key was not provided when the application was submitted via API integration.
Just like any other column, you can sort the Product column:
You can also search the column. For example, entering "Family Loan" in the search box will filter the list accordingly:
Source
The source column shows where the application came from: was it from your website, from the broker platform, from your app etc.
This may be important from time to time and you can sort and filter based on the value in this column by clicking the three vertical dots next to source (hover over the source box) and then clicking filter
You can then choose the filter options in the resulting menu
Assignee
The assignee column shows you if the decision is assigned to a user and if so, which user!
vs

This opens a menu which allows you to choose which columns are shown in the current view

You can also search by product, amount borrowed etc. Anything contained in the table is searchable.
