The Applicant Tab is the best place to start when reviewing an application or decision in the NestEgg dashboard. It brings together all applicant-provided information used during the application and decisioning process.

But please note: The content in this tab will vary according to the method by which the application was submitted. For example, using Loan Matching provides the most comprehensive information, but the questions asked may also vary from product to product.

The Applicant Tab

The Applicant Tab brings together details about the individual applying for a loan. This can include:

  • Personal information: Title, name, address, date of birth, email address, and phone number.

  • Family details: Number of dependents under 18 and whether they’ll remain in full-time education for the next 6 months.

  • Employment and financial data: Job title, employer details, income, and bank details.

Some of this information depends on:

  • The application process (e.g., data provided via third-party loan origination software or entered manually).

  • The additional questions configured in the product settings if you’re using Loan Matching.

For example, applications created through the Assess tool contain only basic information such as:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Date of birth

  • Email address (if entered).

By contrast, Loan Matching applications can gather additional information, such as employment status, marital status, nationality, and bank details, based on your product settings.

Minimum Information Collected (Loan Matching)

The following information is the minimum collected for loan applications submitted via Loan Matching:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Date of birth

  • Email address

  • Mobile phone number

  • Self-declared income (verified via Open Banking and assessed against affordability rules).

Bank Details

Bank details may also be collected if the loan product requires a bank verification check. While this is often used for new member applications, Open Banking can also be used to confirm the bank details of existing members.

Sub-Tabs

The Applicant Tab is divided into five sub-tabs to organise information:

1. Personal

The Personal sub-tab displays fundamental information about the applicant and their responses during the application process through Loan Match, including:

  • Name and Title

  • Membership status (New or Existing)

  • Loan Purpose

  • Date of birth

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Number of dependents

  • etc

The tab will also show some tracking information such as the Host URL (the page the application process is hosted), and the Referring URL (the page they were on prior to the application page) this could be from a different website such as Google or Facebook. Allowing you granular visibility of advertising campaigns or referral programs.

2. Job

This sub-tab contains details about the applicant’s employment, including:

  • Employment status

  • Job title

  • Employer name and address

These fields will only appear if they were requested during the application process.

3. Financial

The Financial sub-tab displays the applicant’s declared financial information collected during the application process. This may include:

  • Declared income

  • Bank account details (if collected)

Tax Residency

If the application was for a New Member submitted using Loan Matching, the Broker Platform or our Save Only onboarding, then the Financial sub-tab will also display the applicant’s Tax Residency declaration. This includes:

  • Whether the applicant is a tax resident in any country outside the UK

  • The relevant country or countries

  • The Tax Identification Number (TIN) for each country, where provided

Tax residency information is only shown for applications recieved via NestEgg solutions (Loan Matching, Broker Platform and Sav Only applications), as this question is not asked when decisions are generated via integrations or created manually using the Assess tool. As a result, this section will not appear for those application types.

4. Demographics

The Demographics sub-tab provides detailed demographic insights about the applicant. However, this data is only available if your organisation has enabled the Cameo add-on and / or are decisioning more than 10,000 loans per year.

When enabled, this sub-tab helps support risk assessment and portfolio analysis but is not required for individual lending decisions.

Summary

Together, the Applicant Tab and its sub-tabs provide a complete view of the applicant information used during the decisioning process. The availability of data depends on your application method, product configuration, and enabled add-ons.
